Undertakers Wrestlemania streak ENDING

As earlier reported from a WWE source that a young up and coming star such as Ted DiBiase Jr may have the opportunity at ending Undertakers WrestleMania streak can now be considered false. Recently the general feeling in the Smack Down locker room is that Triple H has been making wrestlers such as MVP and Shelton Benjamin look bad on camera. One individual who has stood up to Triple H is The Undertaker.
Having been around as an established main eventer for as many years as Triple H, The Undertaker has been keeping an ear open to the insults Triple H has thrown towards the younger talent. The Undertaker looks upon the Smackdown wrestlers as “his boys” and in addition is one of the only wrestlers besides Triple H who has Vince McMahon’s respect. This being said some are wondering if Triple H is looking for a payback victory at Wrestlemania 17 when The Undertaker defeated Triple H, one can look at this as saying Triple H is up to his old tricks of looking out for himself, seeing as how at one point or another, Triple H always steps up looking for the big push, and beating Undertaker at WrestleMania would be the biggest in his career.
If you are unaware of the happenings backstage in the WWE, and having been living under a rock for the last couple years, you should know that Triple is married and has a child with Vince McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon. This, on top of the fact that Vince McMahon has always like Triple H, and given how big of a family man Vince is, this would come as no surprise for him to give a huge push to his son-in-law.
The other option, of course, is that the Undertaker will retired undefeated at Wrestlemania, and it could easily go down as one of the greatest streaks of all time, and definitely would be the most impressive in modern WWE history. The only really comparable pro wrestling streak would be that of Goldberg’s from the WCW when he was undefeated in 173 straight matches before being beaten.
The latter is not something we see happening. More then ever the WWE is young talent oriented. Whether it be because of the steroid scandal, or just because people got tired of watching 7 foot men stand there and fake punch each other. Either way, we don’t see his streak lasting and ShopWWE.net is reporting that on October 14th The Undertaker & Triple H will face MVP and Khali in a dark match on Smackdown. A Tag-team Championship match with Cena and Batista will lead to their encounter at Summer Slam, is the formula repeating? Could this be the beginning of their confrontation which could last until Wrestlemania leading to Undertakers streak ending?
Only time can tell as Shopwwe.net will keep you updated on the situation.
